One million university students to receive Google AI Plus for one year
Saudi Arabia is giving 1 million university students free access to Google AI Plus for one year, expanding the Kingdom’s push to integrate artificial intelligence into education and workforce development.
Eligible students will gain access to Google’s AI tools, including Gemini and NotebookLM, giving them new capabilities for research, learning, content creation and productivity.
The initiative comes as Saudi Arabia continues positioning itself as a major global AI hub through investments in digital infrastructure, cloud computing and AI talent.
The programme also supports Saudi Arabia’s wider objective of developing an AI-skilled workforce capable of supporting Vision 2030’s technology-driven economy.
