New cybersecurity agreement signed during LEAP 2026
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have agreed to deepen cooperation in cybersecurity and digital technology through a new memorandum of understanding.
Pakistan’s Ministry of IT and Telecommunications and Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority signed the agreement, focusing on cooperation against cybersecurity threats and strengthening digital security capabilities.
The development comes during Saudi Arabia’s LEAP 2026 technology event, where more than 75 Pakistani startups and technology companies showcased their products and services.
A Pakistani startup also secured $400,000 in investment during the event, highlighting growing technology and investment links between the two countries.
