Gulf Stock Markets Decline as Oil Prices Ease

Investors monitor interest-rate outlook and energy markets

Gulf Major stock markets across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and other GCC countries closed lower after weaker oil prices and expectations of additional U.S. interest-rate increases weighed on investor sentiment.

Dubai’s benchmark index fell, while Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul also recorded losses led by real estate and banking shares. Analysts expect markets to stabilize as regional economic conditions continue improving.
