Gulf Investor confidence returns across the Middle East
Stock markets across the Gulf rallied after the United States and Iran announced a preliminary agreement aimed at ending months of regional conflict. Investors welcomed plans for a ceasefire, improved trade conditions, and the reopening of key shipping routes including the Strait of Hormuz.
Financial analysts believe reduced geopolitical risk could strengthen investment flows into Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other GCC economies during the second half of 2026. Global markets also responded positively as energy supply concerns eased.
