Gulf Stock Markets Fall as Investors Remain Cautious Over Regional Tensions

Saudi, Dubai and Abu Dhabi Markets End Lower

Major Gulf stock markets declined on Monday as investors continued assessing the impact of recent U.S.-Iran tensions and uncertainty surrounding the durability of the regional peace agreement. Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index fell 1.1%, while both Dubai and Abu Dhabi indices dropped 0.4%. Banking, energy, and real estate shares were among the biggest decliners. Analysts noted that strong corporate fundamentals in the UAE could help cushion future volatility.
