Recovery expected after conflict-related slowdown
According to a new economic forecast by ICAEW, GCC economies are expected to rebound by 8.1% in 2027 after facing economic pressure during 2026 due to regional disruptions and energy market challenges.
The report highlights Saudi Arabia and the UAE as key drivers of the recovery, supported by infrastructure investment, economic diversification programs, and improving trade conditions.
