Dubai’s business ecosystem continues expanding around Expo City
Expo City Dubai recorded an increase of more than 25% in new business registrations during the first half of 2026, signalling continued demand for commercial space in the development.
More than 80% of Expo City’s commercial space is now leased, highlighting the growing interest from businesses establishing operations in the district.
The development is becoming increasingly important as a business and innovation destination within Dubai, with companies attracted by its connectivity, infrastructure and proximity to major commercial areas.
The rise in registrations is also significant for Dubai’s broader real-estate and business-services sectors. New companies create demand for office space, professional services, hospitality, technology, recruitment and networking opportunities.
Expo City is therefore developing beyond its original role as an event destination and increasingly becoming part of Dubai’s long-term commercial landscape.
