New Route Opens Access to Saudi Arabia’s Luxury Tourism Coast
Etihad Airways begins its new Abu Dhabi–Red Sea International Airport service today, October 4, creating a new direct air connection between the UAE capital and Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding Red Sea tourism destination.
The route initially operates once a week, with frequency scheduled to increase to twice weekly from October 25. The Red Sea becomes Etihad’s sixth destination in Saudi Arabia.
The new connection is expected to support tourism, hospitality and business activity around Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea developments while giving international travellers easier access through Abu Dhabi.
