Saudi Arabia strengthens its position as a technology manufacturing hub

Lenovo is preparing to begin production in Saudi Arabia by late 2026, adding another major technology manufacturing operation to the Kingdom.

The company has already established its Middle East, Türkiye and Africa regional headquarters in Riyadh and is expanding its local innovation and talent-development activities.

Lenovo’s Saudi strategy is also connected to growing demand for AI-ready devices, data-centre solutions and edge-computing infrastructure.

The company is planning additional research and development and customer-experience capabilities in Saudi Arabia, strengthening the Kingdom’s position in the global technology and manufacturing ecosystem.

The development aligns with Saudi Arabia’s wider Vision 2030 objective of attracting international technology companies and building domestic manufacturing and innovation capabilities.
