ADNOC Adopts More Aggressive Oil Trading Strategy After UAE’s OPEC Exit

Abu Dhabi expands Asian exports and flexible supply contracts

ADNOC has significantly expanded its spot cargo sales, widened its customer base, and introduced more flexible contract terms following the UAE’s exit from OPEC and the disruption caused by the Iran conflict. Reuters reported that the company has also invested heavily in tanker fleet expansion and new crude-transport arrangements to reduce Hormuz-related risks. The strategy is expected to strengthen the UAE’s position in Asian energy markets.
