Riyadh Saudi Arabia’s newest airline targets global growth

Saudi-backed Riyadh Air has successfully completed its maiden flight to London Heathrow, marking a major milestone in the Kingdom’s aviation strategy.

The airline plans to expand rapidly, targeting 22 destinations by March 2027 and more than 100 destinations by 2030. Riyadh Air is a key component of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to boost tourism, logistics, and international connectivity. Early ticket demand has reportedly exceeded expectations.
