Saudi, Dubai and Abu Dhabi markets post strong gains
Major Gulf stock markets moved higher after signs of reduced regional tensions improved investor sentiment. Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index gained 1.3%, while Dubai and Abu Dhabi also recorded notable gains led by banking and financial stocks.
Market analysts say investors are returning to Gulf equities due to strong economic fundamentals, stable government spending, and optimism surrounding business growth in the region. Banking, energy, and real estate sectors were among the strongest performers.
