Massive expansion supports AI and data center growth

Dubai-headquartered DAMAC Digital announced plans to reach 6,000 megawatts of planned IT infrastructure capacity as demand for AI computing, cloud services and digital infrastructure continues growing globally. The expansion reflects increasing investment in data centers and technology infrastructure across the UAE and wider Gulf region. Analysts view the project as a major step in positioning Dubai as a global digital economy hub.
