Oman’s Budget Revenue Declines Due to Lower Oil Income

Oman’s overall budget revenue fell by 7% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2025, totaling 2.635 billion Omani rials ($6.85 billion). This decline is primarily attributed to a 13% drop in oil revenue, reflecting the country’s vulnerability to fluctuations in global oil prices.
