Qatar’s Energy Minister, Saad Al-Kaabi, cautioned that crude oil prices falling below $60 per barrel could negatively impact global investments, particularly in energy-intensive industries like artificial intelligence (AI). Speaking at an investment conference in Doha, he emphasized that sustained low oil prices might hinder the development of data centers and AI infrastructure, which rely heavily on consistent energy supplies.
